We will be having our “Keeping it Green” fundraiser this weekend. Bring as much plastic bottles and aluminum cans you’ve collected to your nearest recycling center. Don’t forget to remove the bottle caps from the plastic bottles & make sure the bottles have their labels. Please bring in the money that is raised towards Augusts tuition during the next class session.
Aloha Chris,
I wanted to send this email and hope that you will pass this on to everyone who makes football school possible. I could only dream of a program that Caleb could be a part of and be able to use, to help determine his dream of being a perfessional football player. I know that the recession may have parents cutting back but this program for us, no matter what the cost, will help to create a picture in Caleb’s mind of how much he has to work and what the steps are to getting to his dream. I am happy to say that he belongs to such a great program and we will always be a part of HFS. So thank you HFS for doing a great job.

“Giving Back Day”
It has been great being able to use “Booth District Park” since November 2nd, 2008. They have given so much to Hawaii Football School. What we want to teach our youth here at HFS is that when you have been given much that you should want to give back because of your gratitude. Life is full of “Takers” and not to many “Givers”. So what we have decided to do is give back to Booth Park next Sunday on July 26th. The City and County provided the dirt and we will fill in all the holes and low areas on the playing field. The schedule will be as follows: All classes will meet at 1pm and train until 2pm. Then we will work for 2 hours on the field from 2pm to 4pm.
We will also be asking for donations from our friends and family to give to “Giving Back Day”. We will ask them how much they want to donate for working 2 hours on the field. The money will go towards your childs tuition. We will need to bring shovels, wheelbarrows, buckets, and rakes. Anyway, I look forward to this great event and we will be many more of these in the future.
Aloha,
Coach Chris

Aloha HFS Parents,
We will be focusing on getting the kids in shape in July. This will benefit the kids because they will be going into the season in shape and ready. This will help prevent them from injury and help them to have a head start on the other kids when their practices start. Also, I will be conditioning the kids at Pacheco Park/Pearl City on Monday and Wednesday from 2pm-3pm, and at Booth Park on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Just have them bring $10 to the field for every time they come. Lets have a great July!!!
Aloha,
Coach Chris
To all of you who do make a difference, Thank you…. As an old African proverb states:
“It takes a village to raise a child.” I am so very thankful for the time and energy given
To help teach, coach, and mentor my child as well and the other hundreds of children
That come your way. Please know you are all appreciated even in a day like this, with the challenges
We face. I cannot be the parent I need to be without all of you. You are all helping me to teach a young
And impressionable mind who will one day go out and be apart of society. After living in Chicago for 10 years it makes
You appreciate where you come from. You never know a child what a childs dealing with or background, but know you can always make a difference no matter how big or small.
It could be the difference between life or death. I am truly thankful to God for all of you.
